Growth technology has been involved with propagation since the very early eighties when they produced young plants for a living. unable to get products that delivered the rooting performance they wanted they began to buy pure hormones and mix up our their preparations - the first steps in a long road of experiment and development that was to lead eventually to the introduction of clonex - arguably our most iconic product.

There has never been a moment in the last twenty years when they have not had some sort of propagation trial underway and this has helped us to develop - or access - the most effective products for plant propagation from around the world.

They can now offer a complete range of options to cover the propagation of most species under most conditions.

Clonex rooting gel remains the pivotal product and we recommend its use with almost all plant species. we have always recommended its use with rockwool and that still remains a very viable option. the trend nowadays however is towards organic rooting media and we certainly consider the root riot cube to be the most effective medium to use.
